Toy EN 71 test

1. Overview of EN71
EN 71 is a standard enforced by EU countries for toys designed for children under 14 years of age. Its significance is to carry out technical specifications for toy products entering the European market through the EN71 standard, thereby reducing or avoiding toy damage to children.
EN 71 product testing includes the following parts:
• Part 1: Mechanical and physical properties
• Part 2: Flammability
• Part 3: Transfer of specific elements
• Part 6: Age warning label
For other toys with special functions, such as test devices, toys that can be eaten and chewed, these parts are also included:
• Part 4 : Test devices for chemistry and related activities
•Part 5: Chemical toys (devices) instead of chemical test devices
