SGCC

The American SGCC Safety Glass Certification Association was established in 1971 . The members of the association include manufacturers of safety glass products, the official building instruction department, and other departments related to public safety.
    SGCC provides an independent third-party certification program for standard-compliant safety glass materials. Any manufacturer that has passed the SGCC certification will be awarded a unique SGCC manufacturer number and can use the SGCC number on glass products . As an independent third-party certification body, the certification provided by SGCC for the safety glass materials that meet the standards is based on the test results of recognized national standards. The result of the SGCC certification is a sign of confidence in glass safety listed in the US market. If a construction engineer sees that the product has passed the SGCC certification when purchasing glass, he will have confidence in the safety performance of the product. Similarly, the owner of the building in use SGCC authentication glass will feel more secure

In 1971 , it was initiated and established by building safety glass manufacturers, building code formulation agencies and other public safety personnel to organize and manage the SGCC certification project .
