CPR/CPD

What is the CPR
        general construction CPD directive number: 89/106/EEC; each EU member state in order to ensure that the design and construction of buildings and civil engineering within its territory does not pose a threat to the safety of people, livestock (poultry), and property, and at the same time Other basic requirements to maintain universal welfare; at the same time, it is not only related to the safety of the building, but also related to health, service life, energy conservation, environmental protection, economic factors and other important factors of public interest.

        CPR (RETULATION (EU) No 305/2011-CPR) is a new construction product regulation promulgated by the European Union on March 9, 2011, which replaced the old construction product directive (89/106/EEC-CPD), and notified CPR to It entered the enforcement phase in July 2013.

        The new building materials CPR certification is also the EU's unified performance evaluation method. In order to ensure the safety and reliability of the performance of building materials, the new regulations will have more precise, transparent and rigorous procedures and technical language for building products entering the EU market. The new regulations retain the core elements of CPD, while avoiding the differences in local regulations, and avoiding the complexity and time-consuming testing and certification. Compared with the CPD regulations, CPR has made requirements for environmental sustainability information.

What is a construction product?
"Construction product" refers to any product that is included in a construction project in a permanent manner. Construction projects include buildings and civil works.
 Examples of construction products: fire detection and fire alarm systems, construction hardware, ceramic tiles, glass fiber for construction, flooring, sanitary ware...

CPR's requirements for construction products.
    Products must be applicable to construction projects (the entire project and the individual parts of the project) that meet their intended use, and economics must be taken into account. In this regard, the project must comply with the following basic requirements in compliance with regulations and conditions Meet these requirements. Under normal maintenance conditions, these requirements must be met within an economical and reasonable service life. This requirement usually involves predictable actions.

Mechanical resistance and stability (Mechanical resistance and stability)

    The design and construction of the construction project must ensure that the load that may be borne during the construction and use process will not cause the following accidents:
    ——The whole or part of the project collapses;
    ——The deformation is severe to the degree that is not allowed;
    ——The load-bearing structure is serious Deformation, causing damage to other parts of the project or equipment or installed equipment;
    -The damage caused by the accident is not commensurate with the original intention.

Fire Safety (Safety in case of fire)

    The design and construction of construction projects must, in the event of a fire emergencies:
    —— Maintain the structural bearing capacity for a certain period of time;
    —— Limit the generation and spread of fire and smoke within the project area;
    —— Bring the fire to the adjacent building project Spread is restricted;
    ——enable personnel to escape the project or be rescued in other ways;
    ——enable the safety of rescuers to be considered.

Hygiene, health and the environment (Hygiene, health and the environment)

    The design and construction of the construction project must ensure that it does not pose a threat to the health and health of the people within the scope of the project or the neighborhood. In particular, the following conditions must not occur:
    —— release of toxic gas;
    —— harmful particles or gas in the air;
    —— release of harmful Radiation;
    —— Pollution and poisoning of soil or water;
    —— Improper removal of waste water, smoke, waste or waste liquid;
    —— Moisture on all parts of the project or its inner surface.

Use safety (Safety and accessibility in use)

    The design and construction of construction projects shall not cause unacceptable accident risks such as slipping, falling, collision, burns, electric shock, and explosion injuries during operation or use.

Noise Protection (Protection against noise)

    The design and construction of the construction project must ensure that the noise that can be perceived by the people within the project area and the nearby residents is controlled at a low level, so that their health is not threatened and they can sleep, rest and work in a satisfactory environment.

And heat energy (Energy economy and heat retention)

    According to local climatic conditions and personnel conditions, construction projects and their heating, cooling, and ventilation devices must be designed and constructed to use as little energy as possible.

Sustainable use of natural resources

    The use of natural resources is more reasonable and in line with the requirements of sustainable development.

The main differences between CPR regulations and CPD directives

    Many new definitions
    under the set conditions CE mark became mandatory for
    importers and distributors need to take the same responsibility
    ETAG and ETA (license) will respectively be replaced by EAD and ETA (assess)
    the responsibility of the technical assessment bodies (TABs) are
    authorized Agency’s Responsibility
    Notified Body (NBs) Additional Responsibility
    Notified Body Authorization Procedures
    Relevant Simplified Procedures for Obtaining CE Marking Procedures for
    Market Supervision and Protective Measures
